Albert “MO” Mollinea is an advertising executive and photographer based in Florida. He began his advertising/photography career as a photographer at the famed Studio Masters Agency in North Miami, Florida. He was quickly promoted to Studio Manager and Creative Director. He eventually left SM and founded his own firm, Catalog Productions, Inc., a company dedicated to the full service development of print and electronic catalogs for small and mid-sized organizations. Over time, due to customer demand and market conditions, CPI evolved into a full-service Advertising Agency also specializing in Web and eCommerce management with a focus on online marketing and analytics. The name was changed to Mollinea Creative Group to better reflect the firm’s direction. Over the years, Albert has worked on projects for editorial and commercial clients such as Getty Images, National Geographic, Disney, Rolling Stone, Amazon.com, GQ, Esquire, Details, Vanity Fair, Conde Nast, Laura Ashley, State Farm, Nickelodeon, Coldwell Banker, New Balance, Hotel Indigo, Kilwins, Kensey Girl, T-Mobile, PGA, Nordstrom, Aveda, Shulas’s Steakhouse, The Florida Keys and others. While MCG offers an array of advertising and marketing services, he’s made sure that key focus of the company is on the creative, specifically on photography. In his own words, “Every effective project begins with a impactful photograph.” Although his main focus is on commercial and advertising photography, Albert has an extensive body of personal photo projects and periodically exhibits his work in art festivals and galleries. His formal photography education was at the University of Miami, but his real creative and business inspiration and knowledge evolved by collaborating with photographers like Dusty Willison, Phil Bulgach, Barry Willis, Stan Milinowski, Viktor Skrebneski and Richard Avedon. Early in his career, Albert spent some time in New York City where he had the opportunity to assist several of the top photographers and artists based in the city. Albert is also an avid art collector and painter considers time spent with Keith Haring and Jean Michel Basquiat one of the most cherished experiences of his life.
